Primary six and seven entered a competition where they had to design a flier for Flogas to use in their company. Summer Smyth in Primary seven WON the competition and received an amazing art studio as her prize. Her drawing will be used in the Flogas fliers for next year!! Huge congratulations Summer on this big achievement.
As well as her individual prize she won a Farm Safety workshop for the whole school, which we all thoroughly enjoyed this morning. We learned about staying safe on the farm, the signs used on farms and what they mean, Safety around animals, Safety around tractors and machinery, quad bike safety and safety around slurry. It was a very informative workshop and all children received a Farm Safety Handbook. Thanks to Agrikids for the Be Farm Safe, Stay Farm Safe lessons.
