This week the children have been involved in numerous activities to highlight bullying and what can be done about it. To kickstart the week, we all wore odd socks to show that we are all unique and different. We learned about bullying from Newsdesk and left comments about how harmful and damaging bullying can be. We saw the BBC Teach lesson on bullying which identified different types of bullying and who children can turn to if they need support. On Thursday we participated in an online workshop with HIP Psychology. Part of the workshop involved a quiz on Kahoot, we were asked questions about what we had learned. Two of our classmates WON the overall quiz which had over 189 pupils taking part, so huge congratulations to Amelia and Eoin Suitor!! We are all more aware of the 4 types of bullying: verbal, cyber, emotional and physical. We know what to do and who we can turn to for support if needed. Thank you to everyone who helped make our Antibullying week a success!
