Today we had the pleasure of Belfast author Derek Keilty at our school. He has written over 17 books and explained to the children how he began writing at a very young age. He has currently been shortlisted for Children’s Books Ireland Book of the Year. We loved listening to him read from one of his books. Many of our children bought a signed copy of one of his books.
