Today Hannah from PATHS came out to school to train our Primary sevens to be B Buddies. These children over the course of the school year, will take turns at being a B Buddy in our playground. If they see children upset or alone , they will have strategies to implement so that playtime is a pleasurable occasion for all our children. Through the use of B Buddies we hope to improve self esteem, self control, conflict resolution and overall behaviour while minimising aggression or emotional distress. Huge thanks to Hannah who spent time with our P7s making sure they will allow everyone to experience a good playtime.
