Over this half term, P.5 and P.6 have been having a fantastic time learning a whole range of interesting facts about the Egyptians. Here is a sample of some of the things we have covered: We have studied mummification, explored the use of ancient hieroglyphs, designed and created ancient death masks, made our own mummies and used clay to design and make Egyptian pots and amulets. We all agree that life for a Pharoah was pretty good! Who wouldn't want lots of gold, countless servants and to be able to bathe endlessly in oil scented and milk baths? Well done P.5 and P.6.
