We are extremely proud of Louise in P5, who made the huge sacrifice of having her hair cut for a very worthwhile cause. Louise's hair will be used to make a wig, which will then be donated to another child or young person who has lost their hair through cancer treatment or another condition. Such a kind and generous gesture which will make a huge difference to someone else's life. Louise has also been fundraising for The Northern Ireland Hospice where her Grandfather was looked after before he sadly passed away. The school has therefore decided to share any money raised this term between the two hospices, The Southern Area Hospice and The Northern Ireland Hospice.
