NI Museum’s Virtual visit to P6/7
12th May 2021
Our class enjoyed a great workshop with Colleen from NI Museums. Their workshop, “Whatever the weather” involved the children finding about about local artists and how they depicted different seasons through art. We learned about Sir John Lavery who grew up in Moria and another artist (Blackwell) from Dromara who drew the scenic Dromara Hills. We used tone and imagery to paint our own creations. I’m sure you will agree, they are fabulous!! Thanks again to Colleen and her colleagues who presented the session for the class.
