One of our goals in Primary 5 and Primary 6 this week is to understand why numeracy is so important for everyday living. We challenged ourselves to think of where, when and how number is used throughout the classroom, school, community and wider world! The results were amazing! We also used a range of numerical skills to bake our buns: estimating, weighing, sequencing and timing. We even covered percentage, with 100% saying they loved the activity! Well done to Marley whose estimate was the closest for the 'number of rice Rice Krispies in the pot'...how many can you count?
