We had a special guest visit school this morning to officially open our outdoor play area! The ABC Mayor, Councillor Kevin Savage, attended to cut the ribbon to our new space which proved to be a huge success with our other special guests, the boys and girls of our Foundation classes P1 and P2. He also very generously presented our PTA with a cheque for £250 to purchase additional resources. Thank you to everyone who attended and to all of those who helped in anyway to make this possible. A huge thank you to our staff, parents, PTA, local businesses and to all those individuals who contributed equipment, time or resources to ensure this space will be there to provide much enjoyment for our children well into the future. This joint enterprise is a true reflection of the strong community spirit that exists here in our school and wider community. This is just the beginning of our outdoor project and we look forward to seeing it develop over the years ahead.
