This week the children in Miss Mulholland’s participated in a wide range of learning activities. At the start of the week we learnt about how St Brigid used her cross to teach people about God. We also listened to the fascinating story about her cloak! In Numeracy we have been learning to recognise coins and count out enough coins to pay for items. As part of Children’s Mental Health Week, we reflected on where our happy place is and how we can think of this happy place when we feel lonely or worried. Finally, the boys and girls took a day off school work and enjoyed some “time out” as part of Children’s Mental Health Week. Some activities that we did include baking, creating potions and eating ice cream...such fun!
