Today P2/3 had an enjoyable workshop with the well known book illustrator Paul Howard. He shared with the children a number of his books which demonstrated his remarkable talent. ‘The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark’ by Jill Tomlinson is beautifully illustrated by Paul Howard.
He encouraged the children to use their imagination in helping him to draw a Snowman. He took the theme of Owls and guided the children in their own individual drawing of an owl. It was a great experience for the children, something they will remember.
