Two fire safety officers, Linda and Ray, from the Dromore branch of the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue team came to visit today. They gave a talk on fire dangers and prevention measures in the home. They highlighted the importance of a good bedtime routine and having a good escape plan in the event of a fire. We were provided with Safety Packs. These included a ‘Door Hanger Checklist’; ‘Escape Route Stickers’; a ‘Home Check Sheet’; a ‘Fire Safety Colouring Sheet’; a ‘Fire Safety Game’ to play and a set of ‘Fire Safety Character Cards.’
