We have been busy completing writing tasks and art work around our class novel. We are enjoying reading about Wilbur the pig and his friendship with a barn spider named Charlotte. They become best friends and when Wilbur is in danger of being slaughtered by the farmer, Charlotte must find a clever way to save him. What a pleasant surprise we received when we got a visit from two local little piglets. A big ‘Thank You’ to Laura and James McCrory who made this possible and for answering our questions and providing us with lots of information.
