The PATHS programme for school is a universal, evidence based, social and emotional learning schools programme which empowers all children to develop the fundamental social and emotional skills which will enable them to make positive choices throughout life.
P7 were trained how to B Buddies…… friends to children in the playground. They have been shown how to introduce games in the playground to children who need a ‘Buddy’. They were also shown how to help children calm down and help them solve their issue/problem. All our P7s are very keen to help support our younger children and make sure that playtime is fun for everyone. Thanks to Roisin from Barnardos for her training today.
