Well done to all the boys and girls who are working so hard with their Home Learning. This week we worked on Grams and Kilograms and finding the Perimeter in Numeracy, in Literacy we did comprehensions, spellings, reading and grammar and punctuation exercises. In RE we learned about Willie Bermingham and his work for the ALONE charity in Dublin. In World Around Us we began working on map skills and locating major cities, lakes and mountains. We did Road Safety work and used Newsdesk daily to enhance our learning. The most exciting thing was participating in the Jerusalema dance challenge set by Ms Savage, it was amazing!! We also took part in two lessons for Newbridge College, Spanish and Home Economics where we made delicious cookies and completed worksheets on Safety in the Kitchen. Thank you to all the staff at Newbridge who have helped us so much over the past few months, letting us see what life is like in a secondary school. Lastly, our Class Novel is brilliant, we are loving Mrs Clegg read to us daily and can't wait each day on the next instalment of the story.
