What a busy week we have had!! In Numeracy we learned about cube numbers and square numbers as well as further work on percentages and playing educational maths games to keep on top of our multiplication tables. In Literacy we completed comprehensions on The Titanic and learned how to improve writing by adding paragraphs. In World Around Us we began our topic on Materials, which is very interesting. In Newbridge College’s Roadshow we did a lesson on Drama where we had to create different facial expressions, it was so funny! In RE we learned about the dioceses in Ireland and pinpointed the Diocese of Dromore and we listened to a special message from Archbishop Eamon Martin. We did PE via Zoom with HealthyKidz which was fabulous. As it was Children’s Mental Health week we did activities every day to look after our minds and bodies. The highlight of the week was getting to chat and see each other virtually using Collaborate Ultra....it was so nice to catch up with each other!! It has been very busy as you can see, well done to every boy and girl who submitted work to Mrs Clegg, roll on Week 5!
