School Closure
As you may be aware the Executive announced this morning that all schools will close for an extended period over the Halloween mid-term break. This is not the news we wanted to hear, however we must follow Government regulations and unfortunately close our school for a two week period, beginning Monday 19th October. We will reopen on Monday 2nd November.
PLEASE NOTE:
This period of closure has been designated as an extension of the half term break, therefore remote learning will not be provided.
Schools are closed to all pupils; there will be no provision for key worker/vulnerable children.
During the week beginning 19th October direct payments will be made to pupils in receipt of Free School Meals.
Any payments made for dinners over this period will be credited back to your SchoolMoney account.
Parent/Teacher meetings will go ahead on Friday 23rd October as planned via telephone call.
It is disappointing that this decision has had to be made, however if it helps in keeping our wider community safe, we must play our part. Your continued support is very much appreciated and I will keep you updated at the earliest opportunity if there are any further developments.
