Week 2 Home Learning in P6/7
A huge well done to all the class on completing a tough week of home learning! Each day we are busy doing Reading, Spellings, Literacy and Numeracy. We also use Newsdesk and leave comments for other school children to view. In Literacy we have written letters to Mrs Clegg, our NHS heroes and Captain Tom Moore. In Numeracy we are focusing on decimals and percentages. We complete World Around Us on our topic of “Ancient Greece” where we have learned about the Olympics, life in Ancient Greece, Greek numbers and letters and the Ancient Greek Gods. It is a fabulous topic and we are really enjoying it. In Religion we are learning about the Mass and have revised our Mass responses and Christian symbols. We have done Road Safety worksheets in preparation for Cycling Proficiency, which we hope to do later this year.
Each afternoon we complete fun activities like Art where we use the programme “Draw with Rob” our PE is done online with Joe Wicks and we love to listen to our teacher read our class novel through our video link. We are reading “The Boy at the Back of the Class” which is about a small Syrian refugee who starts a new school in England. It’s brilliant!! We sure are being kept busy! Take a look at our photos below.
