All this week Primary 7 have been taking part in reading activities to promote World Book Day. We did a virtual quiz, completed a code breaker, designed book covers and listened to an author Nicola Pierce talk about her love of reading and writing. Today we all dressed in our pyjamas and brought in our favourite bedtime story. Some children had their story from early childhood! Mrs Clegg read a tale while we were treated to hot chocolate and cookies. Peter Collins (M and S) also provided chocolates. In the afternoon we did a quiz, which was won by the team, “Still haven’t got a name!! “ Many thanks to all the people who made our World Book Day a huge success! Keep on reading!
